We are looking for experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanics to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of heavy industrial equipment in an aluminum casting/rolling manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous quality improvement in accordance with company policies.
- Adhere to all JSA’s (Job Safety Analysis) and Standard Work Instructions.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Read basic mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints to troubleshoot equipment.
- Create job orders for maintenance jobs including repairs, new equipment installation, and preventative maintenance.
- Repair and maintain piping systems (pneumatic, hydraulic, gas)
- Responsible for hot work and rigging.
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, measuring devices, and test equipment.
- Follow instructions and respond to management direction.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
- Exercise effective communication skills and being a good collaborator.
- Provide improvement suggestions to increase quality, production, and safety.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment.
- Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
- Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
- Observe and evaluate the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using a variety of testing devices.
- Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
- Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery.
- Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.
- Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
- Analyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
- Record parts or materials used and order or requisition new parts or materials, as necessary.
- Record repairs and maintenance performed.
- Study blueprints or manufacturers’ manuals to determine correct installation or operation of machinery.
- Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, or assemble new equipment.
- Enter codes and instructions to program computer-controlled machinery.
- Demonstrate equipment functions and features to operators.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong maintenance background.
- Experience in product and process failure analysis
- Experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience fabricating and installing mechanical equipment.
- Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills.
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to Listen.
- Hydraulic troubleshooting experience.
- Preferably able to safely operate a forklift and an aerial lift on occasion.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
- High school diploma or GED supplemented by 3+ years of continuous heavy industrial equipment repair experience in a manufacturing environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to perform all essential physical functions of working in a manufacturing environment such as, climbing, standing, bending, reaching, and squatting
- Must be able to lift to fifty pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Working with and near electrical and mechanical machinery and equipment.
- Working in and on machines in an uncontrolled climate.
- Rotating shift work and overtime required to include weekends and holidays as needed.
